La salud en el Ice Hockey...

Los tiempos modernos y avances en la tecnología proporcionan muchas oportunidades para el deporte, la ciencia no esta limitada y esta en servicio de los deportistas igual que a otras áreas de la vida humana. Física, química, medicina o psicología son solo ejemplos que reflejan complejidad del tema ciencia y el deporte, los científicos no solo se preocupan por el rendimiento de los deportistas, la salud física y mental también ocupa gran parte de sus investigaciones.
Con este fin se ha buscado mejorar ambiente en los vestidores, áreas cerradas donde puede agruparse mucha gente, como salas de espera, lugares con poca ventilación, etc. Los científicos observaron que solución pude ser OZONO, gas que existe en el aire y aumenta durante descargas eléctricas (rayos de la tormenta), este gas tiene cualidades refrescantes y al investigarlo mas de cerca se descubrió que es un gas desinfectante y no solo elimina las bacterias patógenas, además crea un residual que inactiva los virus y otros microorganismos que no son sensibles a la desinfección común (por ejemplo cloro), por la razón que es un oxidante muy fuerte.
En últimos años la utilidad de generadores de ozono se extendió a proteger los deportistas que utilizan todo tipo de protectores, sea hockey, football americano, MotoCross y otros, equipo deportivo que no se puede lavar de forma común o exponer a temperaturas muy altas o tratar con químicos (contacto con la piel). Los países donde se practica mucho hockey este tipo de maquinaria esta en el servicio desde un par de años, a México apenas llego primer ejemplar para servir a toda comunidad deportiva, proteger deportistas jóvenes de enfermedades de la piel, promover higiene y cuidado personal para mantener salud y bienestar, que al final lleva a mejorías en la practica deportiva, satisfacción y rendimiento satisfactorio
