Los Argentinos Juan Esteban Curuchet y Walter Pérez ganron la primer medalla de oro para su país en los Juegos Olímpicos de Beijing 2008, al imponerse en la prueba Madison de ciclismo. El veterano Curuchet de 43 años con todo respeto obtuvo su mayor logro en 6 olimpíadas que estuvo presente. Mientras que Pérez, de 34 años, es su tercera olimpíada consecutiva en el máximo certamen deportivo del mundo.
The Argentinian Juan Esteban Curuchet and Walter Perez ganron the first gold medal for his country in the Olympic Games of Beijing 2008, imposed in the Madison cycling test. The 43-year veteran Curuchet with all due respect earned his greatest achievement in 6 Olympics who was present. While Perez, 34 years, is his third consecutive Olympics at the highest sporting event in the world.
